Dr. Theodore Petti, M.D., M.P.H.

Dr. Petti is a Professor of Psychiatry and past Director, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, at the Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Petti received his Medical Degree from Case Western Reserve University, trained in general psychiatry at the U. of N. Carolina at Chapel Hill and in child and adolescent psychiatry at New York University-Bellevue Medical Center. He received a MPH from the University of Pittsburgh and has published in the areas of assessment and treatment of, and services for severe and persistent mental illness in children and adolescents. He recently is first author on a paper on self-report of language abilities in a clinical pediatric population and co-editor of Community Child and Adolescent Psychiatry: A Manual of Clinical Practice and Consultation.
